From outsider to
Is where I’ll begin,
I felt I was standing
Outside looking in.
From outsider to
I observed him,
Viewing him through
The ones already in.
From pictures and words,
All the stories I heard…
As an outsider looking in.
Jamie and Elene
Once ancient kin?
It would appear as such
For the hurt to be this much…
As an outsider looking in.
Outside looking in
Is where I began
A love so vast
Few souls can grasp.
A Father,
A Mother,
Love like no other.
His smile,
His face,
That angelic glow…
Are they all part of the reasons
He had to go?
But why? Not now!
It makes no sense
Why couldn’t it have been
You see Jamie was special,
I’ve come to know,
His spirit so sweet
His knowledge as deep,
A life some of us may never know.
His connection to God
And with Mother Earth,
Born unto him the day of his birth.
And to the earth he was kind.
And he thought God; Supreme, Divine!
As an outsider coming in.
Outsider to in
My journey has no end
I will continue my search for new pathways in.
Perhaps a new friend,
A new view,
A fresh hug,
Or an ear to listen
About your son Jamie who you’ll never quit missin’
Thanks for letting me in!!!
