JAMIE’S JOY has had a year (!) and like many others, we are eager to re-engage safely.  To that effort, we are hosting a local (wherever you are) clean-up through I Love A Clean San Diego on April 24, 2021.  This year’s Creek to Bay event happens to fall on that exact date this year of Jamie’s anniversary (April 24, 2002) and a month from his birthday (May 24, 1996).  We will be 25 this year.

So whichever creek, street, beach, or bay you are near please join us in continuing Jamie’s legacy of Love*Joy*Peace*Connection in service to our earth by grabbing a trash bag and picking up litter near you, or by planting something of beauty, or by helping a neighbor pull weeds.  Whatever gets you out, even if solo, to give something back to the mother. If you are in San Diego, we will have a small group at Jamie’s Way Trailhead on Manzanita Canyon.  We can work in shifts there or form small groups to walk around the area and pick up trash, all masked, all outdoors, all socially distanced, all supplies supplied.  But sorry due to CV19 will not serve food or have the butterfly release.  Just an opportunity to honor Jamie Morgan Mychael Bratton-McNeeley, whose life was cut short on the physical plain but whose memory lives on.
